About MoCity Tufting
Our History
MoCity Tufting is a company with freedom in creativity as a main goal. Our intention is to share a new world of crafting and creativity with our community and use this new world to positively affect our future. This business will enhance the fun and creative side of Tulsa but more than anything, this business will grow our youth! From tuft camps, rug tufting workshops, after school programs, teen tufting events, business and marketing lessons, money management, and so much more!
Our Mission
To bring the tufting world to the forefront of the fine arts world and beyond.
To teach everyone how to achieve peace while allowing their creativity to produce, mental, emotional, and financial growth through fine and fiber arts.
To create a safe space for our youth to express themselves and develop positive ways to use their emotional energy.
To provide a platform for newly found artists to showcase their work and connect with other creatives in the community.
We aim to promote diversity, creativity, and collaboration in the arts.
Our Heart
Creating a safe space for our youth to express themselves and develop positive ways to use their emotional energy is our greatest accomplishment! We are proud partners with an amazing Non-Profit organization in our home town called the Music and Arts About Everything Foundation or, MAE Foundation. Our partnership with this organization has allowed us to reach and teach arts to hundreds of youth in Tulsa and surrounding areas. From creating and training Youth DJs and Music Producers, to teaching tufting in and after school. We are currently working on mixed media art projects with the MAE Foundation and we are excited about what our young people have coming next!
Our Events
We host a variety of events throughout the year, including art exhibitions, tufting workshops, and performances. Our events are open to everyone and are a great way to get involved in the arts community.
